we'd caught tram number one, because it's one of the longest-running roots in Vienna, and we badly needed some sleep. There are few better places to sleep than a tram, when you're in a strange city and you need to to sleep in the daytime. the route takes much longer than a tube train from one end to the other, it's much quieter, and during daylight and around other people and feel a lot safer surfacing from a deep wonderful snooze, we looked out of the window and noticed that we were sliding past is completely wonderful building, so of course we had to get off and take a look. according to wiki ".
HundertwasserHaus Wien is an apartment house in Vienna, Austria, designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser and Joseph Krawina"

it was certainly a lovely place to go and hang out and drink a few cups of coffee, and read a few books and find out a little bit more about the life and times of the architect involved. He was a nutcase, and a brilliant one at that. I think , it would be no bad thing, if almost every architect was influenced at least a little bit by this building.
