Hello, this is Neil's blog - mostly about looking for interesting things in life, which I like to photograph. It's slow blogging, so updates can be sporadic. Click on any photo to see the full size version.

Something very important is happening in Europe

People need to know about this, the newspapers are almost silent -  it's not about celebrities or sport, this is only the other side of Europe and is a disaster on a much bigger scale than 3 mile Island, BASF, and possibly approaching Bhopal. The floodwater isn't the type that spoils a few carpets, it's full of cyanide and kills everything it comes across. The leader of one of the protest camps is an ex-miner, the prime minister is saying more mining should happen and meanwhile a whole village has now been wiped out as the tailings dam has given way.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOPI4kO1CRk
