Hello, this is Neil's blog - mostly about looking for interesting things in life, which I like to photograph. It's slow blogging, so updates can be sporadic. Click on any photo to see the full size version.

random Expressionist landmark, spotted from tram route one in Vienna.
we'd caught tram number one, because it's one of the longest-running roots in Vienna, and we badly needed some sleep. There are few better places to sleep than a tram, when you're in a strange city and you need to to sleep in the daytime. the route takes much longer than a tube train from one end to the other, it's much quieter, and during daylight and around other people and feel a lot safer surfacing from a deep wonderful snooze, we looked out of the window and noticed that we were sliding past is completely wonderful building, so of course we had to get off and take a look. according to wiki ". HundertwasserHaus Wien is an apartment house in Vienna, Austria, designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser and Joseph Krawina"
it was certainly a lovely place to go and hang out and drink a few cups of coffee, and read a few books and find out a little bit more about the life and times of the architect involved. He was a nutcase, and a brilliant one at that. I think , it would be no bad thing, if almost every architect was influenced at least a little bit by this building.
