some pictures taken from near the sparrow at cugir. the dam was originally built as a water source for the factories downstream, where the famous AK-47 rifle was once made. What I think is especially beautiful about this place, is the way that nature is coming back through the concrete and steel, as if the massively strong things that people have built over the years ultimately never really mattered.
Mmmm... beautiful. I can imagine the bridge(?) in the middle in a few years being like the telegraph pole(?) on the left.
